Matthew 11:28

"Come to me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest."

Today wasn't really the bestest of days.
It was kinda more of the worst day of my life (so far, quote quote Homer Simpson).
Yet, because of God and friends, it turned out to be a day full of fruitful thinking and mature realisation.
It wasn't cause of what my siblings told me, or what they advised me on,
But rather, on something that Wong and Char did which they didn't - Listen.

Sometimes we all think that we're really mature, when we're not.
And i've come to realise, that no matter how old one gets, one will never be fully mature - until one realises that he isn't mature, and humbles himself to understand that.
(Takes a while to digest. :D Please read it again though.)
It doesn't matter how much you experience in life.
Regardless how relatable you are to another person's problems, you'll probably reduce the magnitude of it, because you've in a sense, 'been there, done that', and one can really forget how much pain, pressure, and fatigue you can experience in that valley.

To me, personally, if you cannot help the situation with the words you're saying, you probably shouldn't say anything.
One should only say words that encourage, empathise, help and heal.
Not discourage, accuse, falter, and wound.
I guess, this is my rant of how adults piss me off sometimes.
But from the end of this, i realised that i myself, have to learn how to not let them piss me off.
Not superficially, no, but rather, impressing in my soul that trait that will last me a lifetime.

I also realised, in more ways than one,
That revelations often come not by someone nagging at you or scolding you,
But rather, revelations come from self-realisation.
No matter how much saliva someone can spout at you, nothing will really touch you the way God touches you through your heart and spirit.

The real comfort today didn't come from my siblings (definitely not),
A bit came from Wong and Char, who btw, are friends who will last a lifetime (:
But, the real comfort came from God, when He impressed that verse above into my heart.
I'm tired, i'm really tired.
But God has promised me something, that He will give me rest.
He has never failed me.
He never will.
