Summed Up

This week has been full of ups and downs.
Mostly ups for me, but for Sihui, many many downs :/
(CHEER UP K! TMR WILL BE AWESOME :D)

There were many many funny moments this week.
One being the video we watched in GP.
It was a film abt North Korea, named "A State Of Mind", which completely changed my perception of the communist state.
Nonetheless, there was one part which was funny:

Teacher: "Our Great leader [Kim Jong Il] has three components of greatness. Can anyone tell me what they are?"
Spontaneously: "Greatness in ideology, greatness in leadership, greatness in AURA."

This point, i burst out laughing.
AURA? To brainwash ppl abt ideology and leadership is fine, but AURA? That's definitely taking things a little too far.
It was so funny that at that point in time, i thought the North Koreans were quite retarded. But i guess, whatever works for them, yea :D

But, there were definitely downs.
Like one today, where a new guy in the cellgroup got fined $30 for drinking water in the MRT station.
SERIOUSLY? WATER?
That's so retarded, really. If i were there, i'd tulan the guy so badly and trip his sorry little arse.
But ah well, what's done is done. Now what matters is that we bitch behind his back, and just cuss at everything bad that comes our way. Then forget abt it (:

I can't emphasize how much studying sucks. :D
